Our Services
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a proven therapy that helps people change negative thoughts and behaviours. It’s effective for anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD and more. We also offer third wave approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment therapy and compassion focused therapy.
At FJP, we help children with emotional and behavioural problems. We offer different therapies and work with parents or guardians to support your child.
We specialise in supporting individuals with co-morbid issues including pain and fatigue management. We take a holistic approach using a bio-psycho-social model. Our treatments include psychological as well as occupational therapy.
Executive function coaching is a structured support process that helps individuals improve skills like organisation, time management, planning, and self-regulation. At FJP we work collaboratively to develop strategies for managing tasks and achieving personal or academic goals. It can be especially helpful for those with ADHD or other executive function challenges.
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) helps people replace harmful behaviours with healthier ones by teaching emotional resilience. It’s useful for issues like depression, self-harm and anxiety.
EMDR is a therapy that helps people heal from trauma by combining memory recall with bilateral stimulation, like eye movements, to reduce distress and reframe negative beliefs. It's especially effective for PTSD and anxiety.

Testimonials
Christina has helped me to overcome PTSD in a way I didn't think possible. We used EMDR, which I was sceptical of at first, but now can vouch for as a technique that works. Christina took the time to explain the theory of what we were doing and get to know my specific concerns and goals. I really appreciate that she is both empathetic and practical. I felt understood and in control of my sessions while also being able to rely on her expert suggestions and ideas when I was stuck. She made me feel safe enough to let down the protective walls I had kept up for a long time. I now feel able to live my life in a happy and unlimited way. It is no exaggeration to say that she has saved my life. I would recommend anyone who feels stuck, scared or out of control to have a chat with Christina.
Working with Christina, I found that I had all the pieces I needed to help myself, but I was never taught how to put them together in a useful way to affect lasting change in my life. Christina helped me tremendously with that. The nature of therapy means that it can be difficult and emotional, but I never felt pressured to discuss anything at all, and yet found it very easy to discuss immensely personal difficulties in my life in a relaxed environment free of judgement. I would recommend Christina whole-heartedly to anyone curious about the positive effect therapy might have in their life.
Over the last 3 years, I have experienced anxiety and panic attacks, and it just got more challenging each time to overcome. I specifically find the physical symptoms of anxiety hard to deal with: the racing heart, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, feeling sick, and even being sick. I was in a vicious cycle of worrying about being anxious, and when I met Christina in June, I couldn’t see a way past this constant anxiety. I was really nervous before our first session, but straight away, she made me feel really comfortable and that it was a safe space to voice my concerns and issues that I was facing. She has a very empathetic approach, which made me feel heard and validated. Over the last 8 sessions, we have been doing CBT, which has helped me understand my emotions and has given me the tools to deal with my anxieties. The difference in myself and the things I have achieved during this time are amazing, and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without her, and for that, I am truly grateful. We are now starting a new therapy called EMDR, looking into early experiences I had that may be stuck and contributing to the anxiety I experience now. If anyone reading this hasn’t yet reached out to Christina, I urge you to do so. She has helped me change my life for the better, and I would definitely recommend her services.
I've been working with Christina for several months now. When I think of the qualities I look for in a counsellor, I want someone who is calm, patient, caring, and empathetic. Someone willing to listen and who learns to understand me as a person and the challenges I am facing, offering support and guidance - unafraid to ask those difficult questions that get to the root cause of my mental health problems. Christina has these qualities and does all of this and much more! Working with Christina, she has helped me to understand and better manage/resolve some of my mental health problems, which, at times, have been quite raw, painful, and upsetting. But her kind, sensitive, and empathetic treatment of me has meant it has been an enjoyable experience too. There has been no strict format to our sessions. We have allowed them to go in whatever direction my mind or my body have taken us. She has created an open and safe space in which I can be trusting and share with her even the most personal of thoughts and experiences. And it is through this trust that we have managed to make significant progress on my road to recovery. I would highly recommend Christina to anyone looking for counselling support to deal with their own challenges. With her, you are in very safe and capable hands.
I have been seeing Christina for just over 2 years now, I first came to see her after I had been through a string of medical procedures, surgeries and ultimately I had found out I couldn’t have a child and had to have a hysterectomy, leaving me with chronic pain. All these things left me feeling unheard, extremely anxious, depressed and a complete lack of self worth. When I first met Christina she was very friendly, open and had an extremely calm manner, even though I really struggled with anxiety and new situations she made the environment feel safe and relaxed and was able to put me at ease. Christina allows me the time to talk about how I feel, she listens but also knows when I need the help to express what I want to say, the sessions are very fluid and Christina gives me the space to set the pace and lead, however will guide me when she knows I am struggling. We started off with just chatting and came up with a time line of events in my life which we discussed as we went along so she could get a picture of the ‘whole’ me. We then looked at trigger points and traumas in my life and through using EMDR, CBT and talking we were able to work through some of these to make them less noisy in my mind, which allows me to focus more on the ‘now’...
I’ve been in therapy with Christina for just over a year, and it’s no exaggeration to say she has transformed my life. In this time, I’ve found love in places I previously thought were closed off, rekindled family ties, and even got married—all things that felt impossible before. Christina has helped me navigate my career and personal life by addressing past traumas, facilitating my spiritual alignment, and helping me understand my present self. What sets Christina apart is how she tailors therapy to my needs. She uses visual aids and explains the theories behind the techniques she applies, making the process both accessible and meaningful. As a British-Asian therapist, her cultural understanding adds a unique and invaluable dimension to our sessions. Christina is calm, compassionate, and unafraid to guide me through some uncomfortable truths. Having tried therapy with others before, I can confidently say she has struck the perfect balance. Her approach has been nothing short of life-changing, and I cannot overstate how impactful my journey with her has been.
