One starting point I often return to is finding time in the day to be still.
It sounds almost too simple, but our nervous systems are constantly scanning for threat. Add a busy mind, and it’s easy to feel anxious or overwhelmed.
Here’s what helps me:
Pause. Step away from what you’re doing, even for a moment.
Connect. Notice what you see, hear, and feel in your surroundings.
Breathe. Take three slow, deep breaths. Set a light intention to breathe slower and fuller.
